Sub-processors

Last updated on May 31st, 2026

This page is the current, authoritative list of the Sub-processors that Fast Technologies ("Fast") engages to help provide the Services. It forms part of our Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") and is kept up to date as our Sub-processors change. See Section 6 of the DPA for the contractual terms that govern Sub-processors, including the advance-notice, objection, and termination rights described below.

Which means:

This is the living, always-current list of the trusted third parties we work with to run the service. We update it here whenever it changes—at least 30 days before a new Sub-processor starts handling data.

Current Sub-processors

Fast does not transmit Customer files or file metadata to third-party Sub-processors except where necessary to provide a feature the Customer uses: Customer Content is stored on Fast-operated infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform; AI Services features may transmit relevant Content to our AI providers; and file conversion features may transmit relevant Content to our file conversion provider. The remaining Sub-processors (analytics, payment, monitoring, and edge/security services) receive only the operational data necessary for their specific function and do not have access to Customer files or file metadata.

  • Fast Technologies Datacenters — Primary data storage and compute services, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified (United States)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — Cloud infrastructure, data storage, and compute services (United States)
  • Google Vertex AI / Gemini AI — Artificial intelligence and machine learning services for AI-powered features (United States)
  • Anthropic, PBC — Artificial intelligence and machine learning services for AI-powered features (United States)
  • Lunaweb GmbH (CloudConvert) — File conversion services (Germany/European Union)
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — Content delivery, security, DNS, and edge compute services via Cloudflare Workers (United States)
  • Stripe, Inc. — Payment processing and billing (United States)
  • Bugsnag (SmartBear Software) — Error tracking and application monitoring (United States)
  • Hotjar Ltd. — Analytics, heatmaps, and user experience improvement (Malta/European Union)
  • Intercom, Inc. — Customer support, in-app messaging, and help center (United States)
  • PostHog, Inc. — Product analytics and user experience improvement (United States)

For analytics, support, and user-experience improvement, Fast may use Hotjar, Intercom, PostHog, or a combination of these providers; not all are necessarily active at any given time. These providers receive only operational data and do not have access to Customer files or file metadata.

Customer-Connected Services

The Sub-processors above are the third parties Fast engages to operate the Services. They do not include third-party services that you choose to connect, or that you direct Fast to connect to—such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, integrations, connectors, and other external tools. When you enable one of these connections, you instruct and authorize Fast to send the relevant data to that service so it can do what you asked of it. You control these connections, they are not Fast Sub-processors, and your use of them is governed by that third party's own terms. See Section 6 of the Data Processing Agreement for details.

Changes and Notifications

Fast reserves the right to add or change Sub-processors as the platform evolves. We will update this page at least 30 days before a new Sub-processor begins processing Personal Data. To be notified of changes, you may monitor this page or subscribe to Sub-processor change notifications by emailing privacy@fast.io. If you object to a new Sub-processor on reasonable data protection grounds, the objection and termination rights in Section 6 of the DPA apply.
